Rupert has recently switched being the UK’s chief observer for competing and has progressed very quickly. He is ranked number 2 in the UK at present and has just bought a new racer balloon and says if he misses the podium here he'll buy everyone a drink.

Howard attended the midnight balloon rally in Finland in 2009 with flights over midnight. He will be flying the baby Packhouse balloon for Alison Hougham.

Ian is a regular attendee of the Italian Epiphany competition. He flies for fun and this will be his second appearance at the Exclusive Cup. Earlier this year he organized the Cross Channel flight for 50 balloon for which we expect him to receive a knighthood.

This is Jon’s fourth consecutive appearance at the Exclusive Cup. In 2008 he won the cash prize flight with a fantastic drop which was measured a matter of centimetres from the centre of the target.

Neil improved ten places between 2008 and 2009 and another eight places in 2010. This means he should finish first this year. Neil flies Exclusive Ballooning's Silverline Balloon and is based in Wales and will compete for the 'best international pilot' award.
