Friday Morning saw the launch of Exclusive Ballooning's own in house balloon. G-OOEY's maiden flight was as a hare and hounds and the flight was appropriately won by a maiden - Janet Folkes.

>Saturday morning gave us a fabulous flight from Stroud. Two tasks were flown with Chief Pilot of Exclusive Ballooning winning the Judge Declared Goal with a drop of just 56 cm and Andrew Kaye just pipping Ashley Moore to win the Hare and Hounds with a score of 11.02m.

The Exclusive Cup is the UK's leading hot air balloon competition and in its' first year established itself as the second largest ballooning event in the country.
The event exists to promote competitive ballooning to novice and experienced pilots alike and encourages participation to those pilots who shy away from competing elsewhere.
The key element for balloonists at the event is to enjoy themselves - the flying is light hearted and fun and there is no pressure on flying or the competing. The venue for the 2010 event will be Newport in Gloucestershire as in 2009.
